Project 1: Video Tutorials

Students will unpack current YouTube video music tutorials, determine what makes the good ones good, the bad ones bad.  Students will then create their own to be posted on the HTHI Music YouTube page.

Project 2: Crankies

Students will construct their own Crankies.  Their first one will be an animal depiction of themselves or a family member or neighbor, and that person's life story.  The second one will be for the individual they interview for The Amercian Dream 2.0 project.

Project 3: The American Dream 2.0

Students will create a Sociological Textbook in the form of a series of narratives based on interviews they conduct with people throughout SD County.  This project will incorporate an abundance of statistical data the students will study and analyze in Jocelyn's Math class and Joanne's U.S. History class.

Student Generated Classroom Policies

Tardies: Students are allowed two. For each following one, the tardy student will have their phone confiscated until 3:25PM that day.

Food/Drink: Food and beverages will be allowed in the classroom, providing everyone cleans up after themselves and washes their hands prior to using an instrument.  Clean up behavior will be monitored by Food Enforcer Francisco.

RESPECT YOURSELF, EVERYONE AROUND YOU AND THE MUSIC GEAR ALWAYS.
